HOW WE PLAN YOUR TOUR

PLANNING A VIETNAM TOUR WITH YOUR PRIVATE VIETNAM TOUR GUIDE

Private Vietnam Tour Guide
Buddha – My Tho – Mekong Delta

Thank you for your interest in taking a private Vietnam Tour. I know you have several choices when you are making plans to take a Vietnam land tour. My Private Vietnam Tour Guide services are a great alternative to:

Getting on a big tour bus with 20-40 other tourists and spending a day or two feeling that you are being herded around like a herd of cattle. You’ll spend your day (s) riding with people you don’t know, end up waiting for the slowest member of the group, listening to unfounded complaints of other people in the group, and visiting places your have no interest in. You might save some money, but you’ll feel like you spent a lot more.

Or you could arrange a private tour with a large tour company and spend a lot more money. Big tour companies have a lot of expenses.

You arrange your private tour directly with me. We plan the tour together based on your interests, time and budget. Much of your tour can be planned in advance of arrival in Vietnam (online & telephone if necessary), but the biggest advantage is that we can make last minute arrangements or changes to your tour. A 50% deposit for my guide services will be sufficient to allow for planning for any number of days you wish to use my tour guide service while you travel in Vietnam.

Most of tour needs such as hotels, meals, entry fees, etc. will be your responsibility as the tour progresses. No advance fees are normally required except for transportation, such a car or van with driver; and deposit for my services. Most agencies require 24 hour notice for a refund. Some cancellations/changes such as vehicle rental require 24 hour notice before the tour is scheduled to begin.

Booking Conditions

To secure my tour services please pay a 50% deposit of the agreed upon fee online at least 1 week in advance or in person 1 day before the tour. Please book as soon as possible to insure your tour reservation.

The client is responsible for any bank/transfer charges.

OR
Pay online with VISA/MASTERCARD through PayPal (a PayPal account is not required) (a 3.5% transaction fee will be included in total fee): (NOT ACTIVE)

The balance must be paid before your tour departs.

Pay into one of our bank accounts (please contact us for details)

Cancellation
1. No Show: There will be no refund or guaranteed rescheduling of the tour. We will attempt to reschedule if we have no scheduling conflicts or prior commitments.

2. If your cancellation is received within 24 hours of scheduled tour, the deposit will be charged and, if requested, we will attempt to reschedule if we have no scheduling conflicts or prior commitments.

3. If your cancellation is received 24 – 72 hours of scheduled tour 50% of deposit will be charged and 50% returned, or we will attempt to reschedule if we have no scheduling conflicts or prior commitments.

4. If your cancellation is received before 72 hours (3 days) of scheduled tour, your deposit will be refunded, or we will attempt to reschedule if we have no scheduling conflicts or prior commitments.

5. If we have to cancel your tour due to bad weather and cannot re-schedule on another day, 100% cash refund applies.

Actually I will go to Saigon next November.
I’m really interesting about your page..

  3. Hi Loc

My name is Luke and I am coming to Vietnam on the 9/11/2011, flying in to HCMC. I will be in Vietnam for just over a month.

Depending on price and availability, I was considering a private tour guide to help me plan my travels and get acquainted with the country.

I don’t have an itinerary planned but I have a good idea of where I would like to visit. Basically this is my plan thus far. I am very flexible with time as I am not sure how long to spend in each destination:

    – Spend 3 days exploring HCMC and nearby sights.
    – I would like to experience the Mekong delta, but don’t want to pack it into 1 day. I figure 2-3 days.
    – Return to HCMC for a night before heading to Mui Ne. Not sure on time here, but give a day to relax and another to see the sand dunes and possibly the fairy springs.
    – From Mui Ne I would like to travel to Dalat. Once again not sure on required time.
    – From Dalat I would like to travel by road to Hoi An then to Danang and on to Hue.
    – From Hue fly to Hanoi, spending 3 or 4 days exploring the capital.
    – Because I’m a nature lover, I’m considering visiting Ba Be National Park, which will possibly take 3 days.
    – From Hanoi I would like to go on a cruise in and around Halong bay before returning to Hanoi to depart to Australia on the 12/12/2011.

That’s a rough plan. I am more than willing to listen to any suggestions that you may offer.

I was thinking I would use your services in Saigon and in the Mekong Delta. After that I would venture by myself, but get your assistance with organising travel arrangements.

I don’t want to feel like I need to abide by a strict travel arrangement. If I discover a place that I really like I would like to have the flexibility to stay longer.

I hope you can help me with my travels in Vietnam.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Regards

    Luke

  4. Hi Loc,

Myself and my partner were looking at spending about 8-10 days in Vietnam from around the 9th of March 2012. We will be flying into Da Nang and were hoping to motorcycle down the Ho Chi Minh trail to arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. I have been instructed this should take approximately 6 days although I’m sure you would probably have a closer estimate of time. Neither of us are particularly experienced riders which is why we think it is imperative we are accompanied by a guide. Any advice on hiring and returning of motorcycles would be fantastic as it seems reasonably difficult with a one way trip.

Once in Ho Chi Minh we plan on relaxing and exploring the city for two or three days before continuing on to Cambodia.

Depending on price and availability we were really hoping you could provide assisstance in the planning and hopefully personally accompanying us on our trip.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Many Thanks

    Nigel.

  9. Hi,

Any suggestion for tour for 5adult and 2child (1yrs & 3 yrs old)
    Thanks

  10. Hi — I saw your excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. My friend and I will be coming to Ho Chi Minh City on a cruise ship. We arrive on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 11 am, and leave the following day, March 15th at 3 pm. We know that’s a very short time to visit your intriguing city and its surrounding area, and would like to get as much out of our stay as possible. Some sites that we would be interested in are: the Cu Chi Tunnels; a walking and perhaps evening food tour of the city; the Mekong Delta and, if time, a little shopping! I’m not sure what would be feasible to do in that short time period, and would appreciate your suggestions and advice. Please include prices as well. I look forward to hearing from you, and thank you! — Laura
