Here is a sample itinerary for a Full Day Saigon City Tour – of course it will be customized to your preferences!
Cholón: Visit Saigon’s Chinatown. Visit the old Thien Hau Temple to learn about our customs and religion.
Local Markets: Walk through small alleyways and through a local market to discover the real life and the soul of our city.
Downtown: Visit the War Museum; walk on Dongkhoi Road to visit colonial French buildings including the Notre Dame Church, Central Post Office, City Hall and The Rex Hotel. There is an unique building that the Huey Uh1 helicopter which evacuated people climbing on a ladder, one-day before the North Vietnamese forces entered the city in April 1975 – this became an iconic photo representing the Fall of Saigon. It’s our honour to take you there, as it is not open for tourists or to the public.
New & Old: Walk the city streets take a look at Saigon, to see the contrast between old and new residences.
Optional: Take a trishaw ride (one person on one Cyclo Bike with a driver) riding through various local markets; approximately in 45 minutes.
